Having Green Tea in offices, parties, weddings, has become a NEW FAD.
Every second person is going mad over Green Tea. Plus it is free of cost in your office, the office person will keep serving whenever you ask for it.
Good or Bad we don’t care. Green tea sounds fancy and most importantly it melts weight :/
Green Tea: Good for weight loss, NOT FAT LOSS
News papers and advertisements have hyped green tea so much that people have started feeling it’s is a new short cut to lose weight, improve metabolism, and get a beautiful glowing skin too.
But what’s the reality about Green tea?
Is it really helping you lose weight?
Yes, you do lose weight but what you lose is only WATER and MUSCLE LOSS.
CONS OF GREEN TEA:
No 1- As per researches, you need to drink at least 10-12 cups of green tea a day to lose weight.
No 2- Drinking so many cups a day will suppress your appetite because of caffeine content. Eating less leads to water and muscle loss, suppresses your metabolism, and increases your FAT.
No 3- 10-12 cups/d will only make you feel bloated, dehydrated and nauseated.
No 4- It’s a poor source of antioxidants.
Let’s understand this better:
What are antioxidants?
They are the compounds (mostly vitamins and minerals) which prevents us from getting damaged from free radicals (Free radicals are the by- products of normal metabolic reactions and are carcinogenic in nature.)
How does antioxidant work in our body?
Antioxidants work only in the presence of carbs, proteins and fats.
So if you need to drink 10-12 cups of Green Tea/d, what benefits are getting?
10-12 cups of green tea
↓
Low appetite
↓
Skipping meals (low carbs, proteins and fat intake)
↓
Zero antioxidants and dehydration- poor skin, water and muscle loss, poor metabolism, high body fat
So if you keep drinking so many cups of green tea, it’ll just increase acidity, headache, vomiting, bloating, mask your hunger, make you over eat later etc.
GREEN TEA IN LIMIT
Green Tea is consumed in limit will show better results than drinking so many cups in a day.
Green tea has less caffeine as compared to Black Tea. Therefore, just replacing your 1-2 cups of Black tea with Green tea or Herbal tea will show greater results.
Don’t have Green Tea for the purpose to lose weight. Exercise, eat wholesome and clean meals to lose that tummy. Green Tea will help you rejuvenate and stimulate energy if taken in limit.

- Never start your day with tea or coffee. NO GREEN TEA ALSO.
- Feeling headache without morning tea or coffee? Have warm water to give that kick.
- All you busy people sip warm water on your desk instead of green tea. Tea or coffee dehydrates you, so sipping warm water will be better and will have similar effects.

- Restrict it to only 1-2 small cups only. Have it only after eating something. Never empty stomach.
